Shillong, Apr 22: Acting on specific intelligence, Border Security Force (BSF) troops carried out a series of operations along the India-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya.

During the operations, personnel seized contraband items and cattle valued at over Rs 16 lakh.

The recovered items were allegedly intended to be smuggled into Bangladesh.
