Agartala, April 22, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated a newly built Higher Secondary School building in Amtali, highlighting the state government’s continued focus on enhancing educational infrastructure.

In a ceremony attended by students, educators, and local residents, CM Saha emphasized the importance of education in driving societal progress. “Education is the foundation of a strong and progressive society. Our government is focused on providing better learning environments and modern facilities to ensure the overall growth of students,” he said.

Alongside the Amtali launch, the Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated new buildings for five additional schools across Tripura: Henry Derozio Academy, Gandhigram Higher Secondary School, Taltala Higher Secondary School, Indranagar High School, and Nandan Nagar Higher Secondary School.

State officials noted that the upgraded facilities aim to alleviate space shortages and enhance the quality of education delivery. The initiative is part of broader reforms, including teacher training programs and the integration of digital resources in classrooms.
