Itanagar, Apr 24: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced significant support for the family of Late Tage Hailyang, a brave Airman of the Indian Air Force who lost his life in a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
During his visit to Tajang village in Ziro, CM Khandu paid tribute to Hailyang, praising his exceptional courage and selflessness in protecting civilians during the attack. Hailyang chose to risk his life to guide others to safety, an act of valor that has deeply resonated with the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
In a gesture of solidarity, the Chief Minister offered condolences to the grieving family and announced the following state government support: A government job for a member of the bereaved family , A financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh and Construction of a permanent memorial in his native village.
Tage Hailyang, who had been serving in the Indian Air Force since 2017, is remembered for his dedication and patriotism. CM Khandu also condemned the terrorist attack and criticized Pakistan for harboring terrorist elements, calling for strong action.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the nation will respond firmly to such acts of terror. Hailyang’s legacy of bravery and sacrifice will be remembered as a symbol of valor in Arunachal Pradesh.
