Guwahati, Apr 25: Three Bangladesh nationals who attempted to enter India illegally were apprehended by Assam police and sent back to their home country, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed.

The incident took place in Sribhumi district, where the individuals were caught and deported. The suspects have been identified as Mahi Moni, Siza Nur alias Jhumur, and Md Abu Bakar Siddik.

The Chief Minister shared the update in a post on X on Thursday.
