Kohima, Apr 28: The Congress launched the ‘Samvidhan Bachao’ (Save Constitution) movement in Nagaland on Monday. The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) organized a conclave at Congress Bhavan in Kohima to mark the occasion and to create public awareness on the need to protect the Constitution.

The event was attended by All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary-in-Charge for Nagaland Christopher Tilak and NPCC president and Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir.

Addressing a press conference after the conclave, Congress leaders voiced concern over what they described as the “systematic erosion of constitutional values under the BJP-led central government.”
