A Zero FIR was registered on Sunday at the Women Police Station, Churachandpur, following a written complaint regarding a domestic violence case involving Mrs. Nengneihoi (25), who was allegedly assaulted by her husband and other family members.

Mrs. Nengneihoi, married to Mr. Naocha Khaidem of Tangjeng village under Kumbi Police Station in Bishnupur District, Manipur, is currently undergoing treatment at the District Hospital in Churachandpur for her injuries.

Acting on the Zero FIR, a case has been registered at the Women Police Station, Imphal East District. During the course of investigation, the husband, identified as Mr. Khaidem Naocha (28), son of Kh. Jugindro Singh of Tangjeng Ahalup, Bishnupur District, currently residing at New Checkon, Imphal East, was arrested by the police for further investigation.

Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
