Gangtok, Apr 28: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, accompanied by Erung Tenzing Lepcha, MLA of Rinchenpong Constituency, officially inaugurated the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Office at Biksthang Mangalbaria in Soreng District on Monday.

The event was attended by MN Sherpa, Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly; Bhim Hang Limboo, Minister of Building & Housing Department; Madan Cintury, MLA of Salghari Zoom; Aditya Golay, MLA of Soreng; and Indra Hang Subba, MP (Lok Sabha), along with several Advisors, Chairpersons, the Secretary of LR&DM, DC Soreng, SP Soreng, ADCs, SDMs, and other officials.

The Chief Minister was welcomed with a Guard of Honour by the 2nd IRBn Pipalay. Following the ceremonial welcome, CM Tamang toured the newly inaugurated SDM office, inspecting its various sections.

In his address, CM Tamang congratulated the SDM Mangalbaria and the office team for their efforts, urging them to provide dedicated service to the public and set a standard of excellence in their work.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister is scheduled to address the public at SL Dow Gyatso Kazi Senior Secondary School in Mangalbaria.
