Kohima, Apr 29: The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and the Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) have once again urged the state government to revoke the regularization of 147 Assistant Professors and Librarians and to forward these posts to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) for open recruitment.
Representatives from both organizations warned that any failure to meet their demand, or any attempt to delay or interfere with the process, would prompt renewed street protests.
They also expressed hope that the contractual engagement of the current 147 faculty members would continue in the interim, allowing the academic calendar to proceed uninterrupted until the posts are filled through a transparent recruitment process by NPSC.
