Agartala, April 29, 2025: East Agartala police have successfully recovered stolen items, including vehicles and gold ornaments, valued at Rs 1.25 crore over the past two months. The recovered items were handed over to their rightful owners on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, West District Superintendent of Police Dr. Kiran Kumar K stated, “In the last two months, various items were reported stolen at different times. Upon receiving complaints, the police initiated a thorough investigation into the incidents.”
Dr. Kiran Kumar revealed that during the course of the investigation, law enforcement officials managed to recover seven stolen bikes, one scooty, and 4 grams of gold ornaments. He added, “The total market value of the stolen items is estimated to be Rs 1.25 crore. Today, under the directions of the court, these items have been handed over to their respective owners.”
The swift action and diligent efforts of the police have been commended by the community, as justice is served and the recovered possessions find their way back to their rightful hands.
