Nagaland: District-Level Coordination Meeting For 8th Economic Census Held In Kohima

Kohima, Arp 30: The District Level Coordination Committee meeting for the 8th Economic Census was conducted on Tuesday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Kohima.

During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ruopfükuotuo Noudi emphasized the importance of timely deployment of enumerators and supervisors for data collection, which will be carried out using an IT-based mobile application. He also underscored the need for public awareness through social media platforms and highlighted the Committee’s role in monitoring, providing feedback, coordination, and sensitization at the district level.

District Economics and Statistics Officer Kohima, Theyieneinuo Belho, provided an overview of the upcoming census. She stated that the census will encompass all establishments, including household enterprises engaged in the production or distribution of goods and services.
