Itanagar, Apr 30: Arunachal Pradesh is gearing up to host the 3rd edition of the SAFF U19 Men’s Championship from May 9 to 18, 2025, at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Yupia. Following the successful staging of the Santosh Trophy Final Round in March 2024, the state is ready to welcome top footballing talent from across South Asia.
The championship will feature six teams: Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, and host India. The event will also highlight the state’s advancing sports infrastructure.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has encouraged local youth and sports enthusiasts to support the tournament and witness the exciting display of football skills, passion, and unity.
