Aizawl, Apr 30: Ronald Sapa Tlau, former Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader from Mizoram, passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi at 8 am on Wednesday. He was 71.

According to family sources, Tlau had undergone open-heart surgery at AIIMS on Monday. He was also suffering from multiple health complications, including kidney failure. His condition deteriorated after the operation, resulting in his death.
