Guwahati, Apr 30: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya on Wednesday.

Thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected to affect several states, including Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Sikkim, over the next 2-3 days.

Heatwave conditions are also anticipated in parts of West and East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra, and Kutch. The IMD further issued a warning for dust storm conditions in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
