Itanagar, May 1: Omang Dodum from Arunachal Pradesh has been selected to represent India in the upcoming 2025 SAFF U-19 Championship, scheduled to be held from May 9-18 at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Yupia.

Hailing from East Kameng, Omang is the son of former professional footballer Kage Dodum and Meni Tayem Dodum. His selection continues the proud sporting legacy of his family.

Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein extended his congratulations to Omang, wishing him, the Indian team, and the supporting staff all the best for a successful tournament.
