Shillong, May 1: The Border Security Force (BSF) has placed its troops on high alert along the India-Bangladesh border in the Meghalaya frontier, as confirmed by a senior BSF official.
Meghalaya Frontier Inspector General OP Upadhyay stated that the BSF has taken all necessary preventive measures. He emphasized that, following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the unrest in Bangladesh last year, BSF troops have been on high alert and are fully prepared for any operational challenges at the border.
