Kohima, May 1: Nagaland is expected to experience light rainfall and cloudy moderate rain across most districts until May 7, according to the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA). Thunderstorms and lightning may also occur in isolated areas during this period.
The NSDMA has cautioned that heavy rainfall in hill areas could lead to flash floods and waterlogging in lowland and foothill districts, including Dimapur, Nuiland, Chumoukedima, Bhandari, Baghty, Tizit, and Tuli.
The public is advised to remain cautious and take necessary precautions.
