Kohima, May 3: Nagaland Police have arrested Albert P. Lotha, a resident of NST Colony, Dimapur, for posing as a medical doctor and practicing without a valid medical degree. Lotha had been working as a doctor in Dimapur since 2014 without the necessary registration with the relevant authorities.

The arrest followed a complaint filed earlier this year by the Nagaland Medical Council. Authorities have also urged the public to report individuals suspected of practicing medicine without proper certification.
