Shillong, May 5: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday presented a cheque of ₹1 Crore as the first installment to Holy Cross Hospital, Tura, as part of the Meghalaya Health Advancement Policy.
The financial assistance, totaling ₹2 Crore, is aimed at supporting Non-Profit Hospitals in the state.
During the event, CM Sangma acknowledged the critical role of such hospitals in the community, calling them the backbone of healthcare services.
He stated that the financial aid is a token of appreciation for their ongoing contributions to providing quality healthcare in the region.
