Aizawl, May 5: Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma met Prof. Fauzia A.A. Arshi, Managing Director of FA Airlines, on Monday to explore potential collaboration between the state government and the airline.

The discussion focused on FA Airlines’ proposal to initiate cargo operations in Mizoram. The Chief Minister welcomed the proposal, stating that such services would greatly support the promotion and export of the state’s organic products. He assured that any clear and detailed proposal submitted would be seriously considered by the government.

The proposal has been formally acknowledged, and a detailed presentation is expected to be made later in the day to Pu Vanlaldina Fanai, Commissioner to the Chief Minister and head of departments including General Administration and Finance.

Prof. Arshi also expressed interest in working with the Mizoram Government to improve travel connectivity and facilitate the export of local produce. She further conveyed her willingness to contribute to the development of Aizawl or assist in establishing a new urban centre in the state.

Pu Vanlaldina Fanai was also present during the meeting.
