Nagaland: Traffic Restrictions Imposed On Kohima-Jessami Road In Phek For 20 Days

Kohima, May 5: The Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, has announced restrictions on vehicular movement along a section of the Kohima-Jessami Road due to ongoing excavation work. The affected stretch is between Chainage 115+600 and 115+850, located between Losatephe and Lanezho villages under Package-V of the project.

The restrictions will be in effect daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, from May 4 to May 23, 2025, to ensure public safety. Travelers are advised to take the alternative route via Pfûtsero–Sakraba–Upper Khomi–Phek–Lanezho and vice versa during this period.

    Good initiative from the phek DC, few days back our vehicle was hit by a falling stone but those workers refused to pay More over those police personnels were supporting those workers, we didn’t take this route by force but they told us we can go and they’re giving the blame to the traveller
