Shillong, May 6: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has handed over a cheque of ₹1 Crore to Tura Christian Hospital as the first installment of a ₹2 Crore financial aid. The grant is part of the Meghalaya Health Advancement Policy, which aims to support non-profit hospitals in the state.
CM Sangma acknowledged the vital role of Tura Christian Hospital in serving the local community and urged the hospital to utilize the funds responsibly to maximize their positive impact.
