Aizawl, May 6: Financial assistance amounting to ₹1,50,000 was distributed to several orphanages and homes in Mizoram at a ceremony held at the DC Conference Hall. Aizawl Deputy Commissioner Er. Lalhriapuia, IAS, presented the funds on Monday at 11:00 AM.

The homes receiving the assistance include:

1. Thutak Nunpuitu Team (TNT): ₹20,000

2. Hermon Children’s Home: ₹10,000

3. Muanna In Boys Home: ₹20,000

4. Gan Sabra: ₹10,000

5. Bethani Children’s Home: ₹10,000

6. Motherless Babies Home, Khatla: ₹10,000

7. Abundant Life Home, Leitan: ₹10,000

8. SA Motherless Babies Home, Tuikaul: ₹10,000

9. Hmangaihna In, Durtlang: ₹10,000

10. Ferrando Children’s Home: ₹10,000

11. Rephidim Home: ₹10,000

12. Hmangaihte Run, Zemabawk: ₹10,000

13. Spastic Society of Mizoram: ₹10,000

The total financial assistance of ₹1,50,000 was provided under the Mizoram Governor’s initiative to support orphanages and homes in the state.

During the ceremony, representatives from the orphanages expressed their gratitude to the Governor and the Government of Mizoram for their ongoing support. They also thanked the NGOs, churches, and individuals who have continuously assisted them and pledged to keep them in their prayers.
