Diana Taying Makes History As Arunachal’s First National-Level Football Referee

Itanagar, May 7: Diana Taying from Miglung village in East Siang district has made history by becoming the first football referee from Arunachal Pradesh to officiate at a national-level match.

Taying served as the Assistant Referee during the Manipur vs Andhra Pradesh match at the Khelo India Youth Games. This achievement is a significant milestone for the state, showcasing progress in women’s involvement in sports officiating.

Her accomplishment is being hailed as an inspiration for aspiring sports officials, particularly women, in Arunachal Pradesh.
