Itanagar, May 7: Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar is emerging as a key gateway to Arunachal Pradesh, offering access to the state’s stunning landscapes, rich tribal culture, and tranquil Eastern Himalayan destinations.

The airport’s operations are also contributing to the region’s economic development. Incoming cargo operations through the passenger terminal are already underway, and outgoing cargo operations are set to begin soon, further bolstering regional connectivity.

Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein emphasized the significance of the airport, stating, “Every journey begins with a gateway, and this one leads into the heart of the Eastern Himalayas.
