Monsang highlighted that ensuring a safe work environment is essential for the empowerment and equality of women, underscoring the need for greater awareness of women’s rights across all sectors.
During the technical session, advocate Thiyam Rajkishore Singh elaborated on the provisions of the 2013 Act, pointing out that sexual harassment can involve all genders and that perpetrators would face strict disciplinary actions based on the facts of each case.
