Shillong, May 7: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has lauded the Indian armed forces for their successful execution of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ which targeted terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The operation was carried out in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, with missile strikes on nine terror targets, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke.
Sangma took to social media platform X, stating, “#OperationSindoor India remembers and India fights back. There is no room for terrorism. Jai Hind.”
