Kohima, May 8: Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for School Education and SCERT, confirmed that the Education Department in Nagaland is undergoing reforms aimed at addressing the state’s changing educational needs.
In his address at the inauguration of the newly upgraded Government High School Bayavü in Kohima on Wednesday, Yhome highlighted the introduction of multi-age classrooms in rural, sparsely populated areas as a key component of the reform plan.
He also noted the growing preference for government higher secondary schools and announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will soon be signed between government institutions to strengthen educational partnerships in the state.
