Gangtok, May 8: Samdup Lepcha, Minister for Social Welfare and WCSC&D Welfare Department and MLA of Lachen-Mangan constituency, visited Chungthang on Thursday to review the progress of various ongoing development projects.

During the visit, the Minister inspected Chungthang Bazar, Chungthang Phupu Ground, Rikzing Choling Gumpa, and Ani Gumpa Chungthang. He was accompanied by Zilla Panchayat members, Panchayat representatives of Chungthang GPU, the BDO of Chungthang, officials from line departments, and local residents.

The visit aimed to assess the current status of developmental activities and discuss any issues or requirements for effective implementation. Interactions with local stakeholders were also held to gather feedback and ensure that the ongoing projects align with the needs of the community.
