Guwahati, May 13: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has the potential to win 104 out of 126 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, buoyed by the party’s strong performance in the panchayat polls.
He described the BJP’s showing in the local body elections as “historic,” as the party continued to lead in all panchayat bodies across the state for the second consecutive day of vote counting.
