Agartala, May 14, 2025: At just 19 months old, little Shreyansh from North Tripura’s Dharmanagar has earned national recognition by securing a place in the prestigious India Book of Records.

Shreyansh, the son of Biswajit Shastri and Swapna Das, has astounded many with his ability to identify 12 human body parts and recognize 20 animals and birds—an exceptional feat for a toddler. Adding to his remarkable abilities, the child prodigy has also drawn a basic map of India, showcasing extraordinary cognitive skills at such a young age.

His parents first submitted his achievements when he was only 16 months old. However, the application was initially declined due to his young age. Refusing to give up, the family reapplied when Shreyansh turned 18 months, and this time, his talents received the recognition they deserved.

On April 28, the India Book of Records honored Shreyansh with a medal, certificate, and pen, officially acknowledging his achievements.

“We are overwhelmed with joy and proud of our son’s unique talents,” said his father, Biswajit Shastri. The news of Shreyansh’s accomplishment has sparked pride and celebration across his hometown, with many locals expressing admiration for the young child’s brilliance.

This recognition not only marks a proud moment for Shreyansh’s family but also puts Dharmanagar on the map for nurturing young talent.
