Itanagar, May 15: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated locations across Arunachal Pradesh over the next few days.

For the next 24 hours, the IMD has issued an Orange alert for three districts East Siang, Papum Pare, and Lepa Rada predicting very heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning.

A Yellow alert has also been issued for 17 other districts, cautioning residents about the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall.
