Guwahati, May 17: In two separate anti-narcotics operations, Assam Police have seized large quantities of heroin and ganja in Golaghat and Kokrajhar districts.

In Golaghat, police recovered 512.58 grams of heroin valued at approximately ₹3 crore and arrested three persons in connection with the case.

In another operation, Kokrajhar Police seized 963.19 kilograms of ganja. The seizures were made as part of the state’s intensified crackdown on drug trafficking.

Assam Police confirmed that further investigations are underway and reaffirmed their commitment to continue strong action against illegal drug activities.
