Gangtok, May 23: Eloma Subba from Sikkim won the bronze medal in the Solo Creative event of Pencak Silat at the ongoing 1st Khelo India Beach Games 2025. The medal ceremony was held late Wednesday night.

Eloma qualified for the Games along with fellow Sikkim athlete Yamuna Chettri, based on their performances at the 13th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship held from May 9 to 12 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Yamuna Chettri is still competing and is scheduled to face her next opponent today. Both athletes are coached by Bhim Bahadur Subba, general secretary of the Sikkim Pencak Silat Association.

The Games began on May 19 and will continue until May 24.
