Guwahati, Jun 10: Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on Tuesday participated in the Social Adhikarita Shibir held in Dhemaji, where over 600 Divyangjan beneficiaries received a total of 3,533 assistive devices.

The distribution was conducted under the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme and the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY), both initiatives of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The minister shared the development on his official X handle and acknowledged the role of central government schemes in supporting persons with disabilities.
