Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday performed the bhumi pujan for a proposed Eco Park in North Lakhimpur. The 16-bigha park will be developed at an estimated cost of ₹4.25 crore.
The project is designed on the principles of Blue-Green Infrastructure and aims to integrate ecological sustainability with urban green space. Key features of the park will include the Museum of Lost Trees, Miyawaki Magic Forest and Buffers, Edible Forest, Healing Haven, Bamboo Grove, and a Civic Green area.
