Shillong, Apr 24: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma participated in the first meeting of the High-Level Task Force on the North East Economic Corridor (NEEC).

Sangma stressed the potential of the North East as a unified region capable of boosting national economic growth through strategic partnerships. He also noted the region’s advantageous proximity to Southeast Asia, which positions it well for future development.
