Agartala, April 24, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to the timely and high-quality execution of development projects under the Smart City Mission in Agartala. He emphasized that most of the works are in their final stages and progressing steadily.

“The state government is fully committed to the speedy implementation of the Smart City projects in Agartala. We are ensuring that quality is not compromised while moving towards timely completion,” said Dr. Saha during his inspection on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister visited the Agartala Smart City Limited office located in the Urban Development (UD) Building to review the progress of the ongoing projects. He also inspected the office of the Water Board, which plays a crucial role in ensuring the regular supply of drinking water to the city.

During his visit, Dr. Saha interacted with officials from both departments and issued necessary directives to accelerate the remaining work and maintain the desired standards.

Accompanying the Chief Minister were Agartala Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sailesh Kumar Yadav, along with other senior officials and staff from the Urban Development department.
