Guwahati, Apr 25: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Norway’s Ambassador to India, May-Elin Stener, met on Thursday evening to discuss potential areas for collaboration between the two regions. The meeting focused on key sectors such as green energy, bio-refinery, green ammonia, and sustainable aviation fuel.
Sarma expressed his enthusiasm about the discussions, highlighting the shared interests in advancing sustainable technologies. “We explored a wide range of issues of common interest, including bio-refinery and green ammonia, and discussed possible collaborations in green energy and other emerging sectors,” Sarma said in a social media post.
The meeting reflects both Assam and Norway’s commitment to building stronger ties and exploring innovative solutions to global environmental challenges.
