Itanagar, May 13: Chief Minister Pema Khandu led a landmark Cabinet meeting under the Cabinet Aapke Dwar initiative at Kibithoo, the first village of India located in Anjaw district. The session, held at the easternmost edge of the country, marked a significant step in delivering governance directly to remote border communities.
Joined by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Cabinet colleagues, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening administrative efficiency, enhancing revenue generation, and promoting self-reliance through the Atmanirbhar Arunachal mission.
“This historic Cabinet meeting at Kibithoo reflects our resolve to take governance to every corner of Arunachal Pradesh, ensuring last-mile delivery and inclusive development,” said Khandu.
Deputy CM Mein added that the initiative reaffirms the government’s dedication to holistic development, especially in strategically important border regions.
The Cabinet Aapke Dwar programme aims to bring state administration closer to the people, making governance more accessible and responsive in Arunachal’s far-flung areas.
