Kohima, May 19: The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has stated that it will not support the voluntary indefinite shutter down called by the Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) within its jurisdiction.

In an official statement, the DMC urged the business community, trade organizations, and the general public to exercise restraint and act responsibly during this period. It advised all commercial establishments in Dimapur to remain open and continue their regular operations without fear or yielding to any pressure.

The DMC also appealed for public cooperation in ensuring peace and uninterrupted economic activity in the city.
