Nagaland Chief Secretary Urges District Authorities To Remain Vigilant During Monsoon

Kohima, May 22: Nagaland Chief Secretary and Chairman of the State Executive Committee of NSDMA, Dr. J. Alam, has called on all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and district heads of departments to remain alert and prepared for potential monsoon-related disasters.

Dr. Alam made the appeal during a monsoon preparedness meeting held via video conference on May 21 with DCs and district department heads. He emphasized the need for efficient resource utilization, maintaining road connectivity during blockages, and holding regular review meetings to ensure timely response during emergencies.

The Health Department was also advised to take necessary precautions to address any health-related emergencies that may occur during the monsoon season.
