Guwahati, May 24: Three more individuals have been arrested in Assam as part of the ongoing crackdown on alleged ‘Pakistan sympathisers’ following last month’s terror attack in Pahalgam. With these fresh arrests, the total number of people taken into custody has risen to 76, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday.
The arrests were reported from Nalbari, South Salmara, and Kamrup districts. Sarma stated that the state government remains firm in its efforts to act against those suspected of anti-national activities.
