Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Visits Oju Welfare Association To Assess Child Care Services

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu visited the Oju Welfare Association (OWA) in Naharlagun on Saturday, an institution dedicated to the care of orphaned and destitute children.

During the visit, he toured the Boys Dormitory-cum-Recreational Room at the Children Home under the Child Care Institute (CCI), where children conducted a demonstration on Good Touch and Bad Touch, an important initiative for child safety awareness.

The Chief Minister also visited the Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA), which provides care for children in need of protection, as well as the Girls Dormitory, observing the supportive environment provided for the children.

Khandu commended the dedication of caregivers and the resilience of the children, underscoring the vital role of institutions like OWA in nurturing and safeguarding vulnerable children.
