Arunachal CM Inaugurates ₹20 Crore Housing Project For Govt Employees In Itanagar

Itanagar, May 31: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday inaugurated Phase-I of the Sector-wise Remodeling of Government Quarters at A-Sector, Raj Bhawan Road in Itanagar. The project, aimed at replacing government quarters built in the 1980s, involves the construction of modern, multi-storied residential blocks.

With a sanctioned cost of ₹20 crore, the redevelopment will include 18 Type-II and 18 Type-III 2BHK flats, benefiting Group-B and Group-C government employees. The initiative seeks to enhance living conditions and support the broader goal of developing a well-planned and efficient capital city.

The inauguration was attended by Minister Balo Raja, Advisor Techi Kaso, Chief Secretary Manish Gupta, and officials from the Urban Development Department.
