Agartala, June 03, 2025: A high-level Central Government delegation currently on a state visit as part of the 142nd Level-D Training Program for Under Secretaries and Section Officers reviewed various Central development projects in West Tripura District and held discussions with the District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar.
The delegation comprising 22 officers from Delhi is participating in a training program organized from May 26 to June 6. As part of the program, four central officials conducted a detailed review of Centrally Sponsored and State Government Schemes on Tuesday at the District Magistrate’s office.
The delegation members included Mukesh, Section Officer, Ministry of MSME, who discussed the Chief Minister Model Village and National Health Mission; Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Section Officer, Ministry of Railways, who focused on the MGNREGA project and Panchayat development; Nitesh Kumar Srivastava, Section Officer, Ministry of Railways, who reviewed the Swachh Bharat Mission and Arogya Yojana; and Devendra Kumar Meena, Officer, Ministry of Railways, who evaluated the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Swavalamban Project.
During their visit, the officials inspected development projects across four blocks—Jirania, Hezamara, Old Agartala, and Mohanpur. They interacted with local Block Development Officers (BDOs) to assess implementation status and gathered feedback from stakeholders.
“The delegation was satisfied with the implementation of Central Government projects in West District and praised the efforts of the State Government,” said an official statement. The team also emphasized the importance of public feedback in enhancing the impact of these schemes.
Dr. Vishal Kumar, West District Magistrate, assured continued cooperation and commitment to effective implementation of both Central and State initiatives, aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
