Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi met with senior leaders of the Manipur Congress at the AICC Headquarters (Indira Bhavan) in New Delhi today to discuss the ongoing crisis in the state.

In a statement shared on social media, Congress General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal said that Manipur has been caught in the grip of a “devastating civil war” for the past two years and emphasised the urgent need for a political solution to restore normalcy.

Among those who attended the meeting were Manipur MP Dr. Bimol Akoijam, Congress Working Committee member Gaikhangam, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Keisham Meghachandra, and other senior state leaders.
