Agartala, June 10, 2025: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 11 years in office, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday hailed his tenure as a “golden era” for India, highlighting the government’s emphasis on inclusive growth, national development and welfare programs.
“We are truly fortunate to have a leader like Narendra Modi,” Saha stated, praising the Prime Minister’s initiatives that he said have transformed the nation. “The way he is steering the country forward, implementing impactful schemes, and uplifting the poor is commendable.”
Saha also highlighted Modi’s unprecedented focus on the Northeast, asserting that no previous leader had given such attention to the region. “PM Modi believes that without the Northeast’s development, India cannot progress. His vision will be remembered in golden letters,” he remarked.
To mark the milestone, the central government released an e-book detailing key achievements across sectors since 2014. The document, structured under 14 broad themes—including infrastructure, healthcare, digital governance, and foreign affairs—outlines policy actions and milestones.
A key focus of the publication is what it describes as Modi’s shift in political and administrative discourse, emphasizing “Vikasvaad”—a development-centric approach. It also highlights the government’s response to the COVID-19 crisis, India’s record-breaking vaccination drive, and economic resilience.
Additionally, the report credits the JAM Trinity (Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, and Mobile) with streamlining public service delivery and eliminating middlemen through direct benefit transfers. Environmental leadership and India’s global climate action efforts are also featured, alongside cultural milestones such as the UN’s recognition of June 21 as International Yoga Day.
Further, the government spotlighted Operation Sindoor, portraying it as a symbol of India’s growing confidence on the international stage.
With Modi now in his third consecutive term, his administration has framed this 11-year journey as a period of inclusive and progressive development, aiming to sustain the momentum in the years ahead.
