In a major anti-narcotics operation, Cachar Police intercepted a vehicle from a neighbouring state and seized contraband items valued at approximately ₹5 crore. The operation took place in Silchar, leading to the recovery of 3.095 kg of morphine, 240 cartons of Burmese cigarettes, and 560 units of Godzilla products.

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. Further investigation is underway.
