Assam Rifles recovered 20.9 grams of Heroin No. 4, packed in two hongs, during an operation in the Zote area of Champhai district. Two individuals were apprehended and a vehicle was seized in connection with the case.

The seized narcotics, along with the apprehended persons and the vehicle, were handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department, Champhai, for further investigation and legal proceedings.
