Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister P. Paiwang Konyak announced several health infrastructure projects for Zunheboto District during his “Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat” state tour.

The projects include the ongoing construction of the District Hospital, staff quarters, an Urban Public Health Centre, an Integrated Public Health Laboratory, a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) building, a nursing school, and a 30-bedded Ayush Hospital. New Primary Health Centres (PHCs) are also planned for Pughoboto and Satoi, along with sub-centres at Sukomi and Hebolimi.

The minister set December 2025 as the deadline for the completion of the hospital and called for collective support from the local MLA, civil society organisations, and political workers to ensure timely implementation.
